All of the services outlined in the “Completing An Evaluation” section are provided for in the evaluation fee, which is $3400 for any child 5 years or older. This is based on our calculation that it will take 12 hours of our time to do the evaluation, write the report, and consult all of the people involved. Fees for preschool children are typically calculated differently, and are based on the extent to which the child is developmentally ready for a comprehensive evaluation. For preschoolers, we will make a fee agreement with you before starting the evaluation.
Parents are asked to submit the evaluation fee in two installments; one half at the time of testing and the second half at the parent feedback session.
Parents often ask us to attend a school or other meeting. These are billable at our hourly rate of $285. We discuss all billing prior to providing services to avoid confusion or miscommunication.
We do not participate in any health insurance programs. However, after you have pre-paid the evaluation fee, we can provide you with an itemized bill, which supplies the procedure and diagnostic codes that health insurance companies need in order to reimburse you. |
